Montana v. Wyoming

This excerpt from the suit brought by Montana against Wyoming in the US Supreme Court alleges an increased consumption of water by those irrigators upstream in Wyoming who employ more efficient irrigation techniques. As a note, the Special Master recommended and USSC agreed that the increased use resulting from increased irrigation efficiency did not violate the Compact between the states. See "Montana v.
